The Greater Lansing Tourism Ambassador Program is a certification program presented by the Greater Lansing Convention & Visitors Bureau that serves to increase tourism by inspiring front-line hospitality employees and volunteers to work together to turn every visitor encounter into a positive experience.

Regional Destination Development

We at the Greater Lansing Convention and
Visitors Bureau recognize that the unique
individuals that make up our community are
as big a part of our tourism appeal as our
attractions, hotels, shops and restaurants.

We are a hard-working, friendly and accepting community, with a solid framework focused on the future and grounded in our rich history. We spend our days living among the entrepreneurial spirit that makes our Capital Region what it is today. We are here to grow the seeds planted for this community by innovators like Ransom Eli Olds, pioneering botany professor William J. Beal and Michigan Governor William L. Greenly, who formally signed into law the act of the legislature officially making Lansing the State Capital.

Surrounded by the inheritance of these past great community leaders, one must ask, "What then is our legacy?"
